1. NEW! BJD Beards - adding facial hair Requests for additional facial hair are now officially accepted.
The process for this service is quite endearing, first the beard shadow is laid down with pastels and then filled in with lots and LOTS of individual hairs that are carefully painted with a tiny brush. Yup, each hair is painted by itself.
There are no shortcuts to a luscious, full beard. *wink*
This is why this service warrants an extra fee as it adds a few more hours to the faceup process.
It's worth it though!
2. Airbrush matching service for heads
This is applicable to heads that either:
- are severely yellowed
- are not compatible with their body due to skin tone differences (e.g. NS pink and NS yellow)
- have suffered staining
PLEASE NOTE: This service is not valid for complete re-colouring (e.g. turning white skin into normal skin). If you have a custom colour matching request, ask me beforehand and I will check if it is within my capabilities.
I also cannot guarantee I can colour modded areas that are not white (e.g. grey epoxy). Please contact me beforehand about your specific head. I will have to turn down commissions if the modding is too severe or dark for me to colour with my current set of tools.
You are required to send a piece of resin or body part (preferably torso, hands are also alright) that has the colour you wish for the head. If a torso piece is sent it is often wise to match the neck to head as well, this way it becomes even more accurate.
The procedure is tricky and that is why I must ask for your understanding that I cannot achieve a 100 % match. Furthermore, I cannot change the opacity of the resin. Meaning, if the head is darker to begin with, it will still be darker after the matching, its skin tone will just be corrected.
This new service can be requested along with any normal faceup at an extra fee (see "Prices").
